Teddy’s on the Hill
Teddy’s on the Hill occupies the old Red Hat address on Bowdoin Street, with a menu built for a beer and something substantial to eat. There are wings, nachos and a pub pretzel for the table, plus cheeseburgers, chicken panini and steak tips. The South Shore-style pizza selection includes Buffalo chicken and fig with prosciutto.
The bar stays open later than the kitchen, an important distinction if you’re arriving hungry. Teddy’s posts midnight as the kitchen’s closing time and 2 a.m. for the bar. Wednesday live music adds another reason to check the calendar before choosing a night. For a larger gathering, the restaurant takes inquiries for separate areas and full buyouts rather than leaving you to squeeze everyone around an available table.
