UnCommon Stage

UnCommon Stage brings free performances to the corner of Boston Common at Boylston and Tremont streets. Emerson College’s outdoor stage is part of UnCommon Corner, with a calendar that gives you a reason to stop and listen while crossing downtown. Admission is open to all ages, and you don’t have to buy a concert ticket to join the audience.

Harpoon runs the adjoining seasonal beer garden, with food from El Jefe’s Taqueria. That makes it possible to stay for a performance and something to eat rather than simply passing through. Check the current program before going if there’s an act you want to hear. This is an outdoor, seasonal venue, so weather and the performance schedule matter when making plans.
