Burg and Shaw

Burg and Shaw on Tremont Street keeps the decision fairly simple: a smash burger or chicken shawarma. The burger comes with cheese, caramelized onions and the house Burg sauce. Chicken is marinated for 24 hours, then cooked on the flat-top and paired with pickles, mint and garlic sauce. That gives you two quite different lunches from the same kitchen.

The restaurant is in the Theater District, handy for food before a show or something to take away afterward. Friday and Saturday service continues until 1 a.m.; Tuesday through Thursday closes at 10 p.m. Sunday starts later, at 2 p.m., and Monday is closed.
