The Comedy Studio

The Comedy Studio is back in Harvard Square, with a downstairs room for stand-up and a bar that opens an hour before each show. The club began above the Hong Kong restaurant in 1996 and helped develop comedians including Eugene Mirman and Sam Jay. Today’s calendar mixes hosted showcases, visiting headliners and late-night shows, so look at the lineup before choosing a ticket. Once seated, you can order food and drinks through the QR code at your table and have them brought over. Arrive early for a drink, or stay afterward at the bar. This is the current Harvard Square venue, rather than the club’s former Union Square home.
