Sabroso Taqueria – Downtown (2 Center Plz)

Sabroso at Center Plaza is built for a downtown lunch that doesn’t need a reservation. Burritos, rice bowls and quesadillas come with choices including grilled chicken, carne asada, shrimp, salmon and slow-roasted pork carnitas. Roasted vegetables give you another way to fill the order, with rice, black beans, guacamole and salsa doing much of the supporting work.

The tacos have melted cheese between two corn tortillas, a detail worth knowing before you order. Chicken tortilla soup and chili offer alternatives when you don’t want a full burrito. This is the Government Center branch; Sabroso also has a shop on Oliver Street, and the ordering links on its main website specifically serve that other location.
