Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery

Rock Bottom on Stuart Street pairs a brewery setting with a menu built for a substantial lunch or dinner. Beer turns up in the food too: cod for the fish and chips gets a kölsch batter, and the Philly cheesesteak comes with kölsch queso. Burgers range from a bourbon-and-blue-cheese version to one piled with jalapeños and onion rings.

You can also order pizza, ribs or a salad if the table can’t agree on a direction. The Impossible burger gives vegetarians a main course beyond sides. Reservations are available, including arrangements for larger parties. The Theater District location makes it practical before a performance; check the beer list on the day for the current selection.
