Notch Brewery and Tap Room – Brighton

Notch’s Brighton taproom gives Czech and German beer styles plenty of space on the menu. You can order a pale lager, a dark lager or a wheat beer, with quarter-liter pours available if you want to try more than one style. Communal tables make the room suited to conversation over beer, and the outdoor biergarten stays open year-round, with heaters in winter and umbrellas in summer. The brewing equipment includes open fermentation vessels and horizontal lagering tanks, reflecting the methods behind the drinks. Nonalcoholic beer, hop water and sodas give the nondrinkers choices, too. Pick up cans at the bar if you find something you would like to take home.
