Devlin’s Bistro and Bar

Devlin’s on Washington Street has a patio worth asking about when you make dinner plans. Seating there is first come, first served, and a restaurant reservation doesn’t guarantee an outdoor table. Inside or out, the menu includes beef-and-Guinness egg rolls with Gruyère, a burnt-ends cheesesteak and a bacon cheeseburger.

You can also order miso salmon with jasmine rice and broccolini, or pepperoni pizza finished with hot honey. That gives a group room to choose between a larger dinner plate and something more casual. The bar stays open later than the kitchen, so check the food schedule if you’re going late. For a patio visit, be prepared to take an indoor table if the outdoor seats are already full.
