Harpoon Beer Garden – Boston Common

Harpoon’s Boston Common beer garden puts an outdoor drink beside Emerson’s UnCommon performance stage, near Boylston and Tremont streets. It’s a seasonal setup, with local draft beer, cider, wine, seltzer and nonalcoholic drinks. El Jefe’s Taqueria handles the food from the kitchen container next to the bar, so there’s something to eat while you settle in for a performance.

Admission is free and all ages are welcome, though you’ll need valid identification to buy alcohol. Most visits are walk-in; larger groups can inquire ahead. Dogs are welcome under their owners’ control, and outside food and drinks aren’t allowed. Check the performance calendar and weather before heading over: this is an outdoor stop, and the garden doesn’t operate year-round.
