Emerson Paramount Center
Emerson Paramount Center began as a movie palace in 1932, and its restored Art Deco interior is part of the pleasure of seeing a show here. Emerson College reopened the Washington Street venue in 2010, giving the former cinema a new life with theater, dance and film.
Inside are three distinct spaces: the Robert J. Orchard Stage, the smaller Jackie Liebergott Black Box and the Bright Family Screening Room. ArtsEmerson’s programming gives you reasons to return, from plays and live performances to film festivals and conversations with artists. Check the lineup for something that catches your interest, and note the room on your ticket.
