Don Tequeño y Doña Arepa brings Venezuelan food to Centre Street, with arepas and tequeños at the center of the menu. The business grew out of the Marte Contreras family’s home cooking in 2020 before opening its first restaurant in Dorchester. This is the Jamaica Plain location, at 403A Centre Street. The family’s Venezuelan and Dominican background is part of the restaurant’s story, and the focus here is Venezuelan food.
