Jadu

Jadu on Centre Street has two distinct parts to its day: a coffee shop in the morning and afternoon, and a wine bar on selected evenings. The Jamaica Plain space opened as a cafe in December 2024 and added wine service in June 2025. Its owners draw inspiration from gathering places ranging from Mumbai’s chai stalls to Barcelona’s tapas bars.

You can come for coffee and food during the day or return for a slower evening over wine. The schedules are separate, so don’t assume the coffee shop stays open straight through until dinner. Wine service runs Thursday through Sunday, and the cafe closes on Wednesdays. Check the current menus when choosing between a daytime stop and an evening reservation.
