Democracy Brewing Eastie

Democracy Brewing Eastie is the worker-owned brewpub at 154 Maverick Street, around the corner from Maverick station. It opened in July 2025 as the second Democracy Brewing room after Downtown Crossing. House beers come in 5-ounce, 16-ounce, and 32-ounce pours, plus four-beer flights: Worker’s Pint helles, Passport Pils, Body Language hazy IPA, Consummate Rioter West Coast IPA, Tipsy McStaggers Irish stout, and seasonal pints like Basic Witch pumpkin ale. Food has included saucy smoked wings, mango-habanero aguachile shrimp, and a tater tot pile-up with Venezuelan braised beef, queso blanco, and guasacaca. Thursday trivia is on the calendar. Hours are posted Tuesday through Sunday; Monday is closed. There is a patio on the Maverick Square side. Come for a house beer and a plate, close to the Blue Line.
