Crush Pizza

Crush Pizza is at 986 Bennington Street in East Boston, with a second shop in Quincy. This Eastie location does 12-inch and 16-inch pies, Sicilian, and a square Beach Style pizza with a sweet-tangy sauce finished with provolone. There is a vodka pepperoni Sicilian, steak-and-cheese on a seeded roll, a chopped Italian sub, and the crispy chicken Caesar sub. Wings are braised, sauced, then finished in a very hot oven. Jumbo chicken tenders, loaded fries, and caprese salad sit beside the pies. Official East Boston hours are Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday noon to 8 p.m. The old copy made this sound like a rotating seasonal-pie counter. The current menu is a neighborhood pizza shop with subs, Sicilian, and wings, not a tasting-menu rotation.
