Chinese Dragon

Chinese Dragon is the late takeout shop at 380 Chelsea Street in East Boston. The kitchen runs into the small hours, with online ordering for pickup and delivery. The menu is the familiar American-Chinese spread: lo mein (vegetable, chicken, roast pork, beef, shrimp, or house special with shrimp, chicken, pork, and ham), pork fried rice, and all-day plates such as General Gao’s chicken with pork fried rice. Appetizers include crab rangoon, egg rolls, and boneless spare ribs. There are Szechuan-style and kung pao sections, plus chow foon and mei fun. This is not a destination dining room. It is the Chelsea Street shop you call when you want a combination plate, noodles, and rice after most of Eastie has closed.
