Downeast Cider Eastie Pop-Up Cider Garden

Downeast Cider’s Eastie pop-up cider garden is the outdoor pour room in the East Boston shipyard, across from the cider house at 256 Marginal Street, Building 32. The garden is open May through October and is 21 and over, same as the taproom. Inside the production building, Thursday through Sunday, the taproom pours flights only (one flight per person per day) among forklifts and canning lines, with a dozen-plus flavors on tap. Full pours, including frozen hard slushies, happen outside at the garden. Original Blend, Blackberry, Black Cherry, Apple Pie, and rotating exclusives such as White Peach have been in the current mix. Check Downeast’s visit page before you go; hours move with events. This is a seasonal cider yard next to the plant, not a year-round cocktail bar.
