Bottega Fiorentina has served Coolidge Corner since 1994, with the Angeline Cannella family taking over from the Ferrini family in 2019. The Harvard Street shop covers more than a bowl of pasta: its menu runs from breakfast frittatas and coffee to panini, baked dishes and dessert. A prosciutto-and-soppressata sandwich or a portion of lasagna makes a very different lunch from a cappuccino and pastry, but both fit here.

For a longer meal, look through the pasta choices and add something to share, such as bruschetta or a sausage arancini. There is also a market side to the business if you want to bring ingredients home. Online ordering is available; choose the Brookline location, since Bottega also operates a separate South Boston shop.
