The Dark Bar

The Dark Bar at the Boston Harbor Hotel has dim lighting, leather seating and a drinks list that spends time with older cocktail styles. Punches, cobblers, slings and juleps appear alongside the other choices. You can order a drink and a cheese board, or make more of the food menu with oysters, tuna tartare and flatbreads.

The kitchen changes over to a late-night menu at 10 p.m., serving food until midnight. That later selection includes clam chowder, a lobster roll and a burger with brie and bacon jam. It’s useful if dinner has slipped later than planned. The bar is at Rowes Wharf, within the hotel, and stays open later on Friday and Saturday.
