Boch Center – Shubert Theatre
The Shubert Theatre has been bringing audiences to Tremont Street since 1910, when it opened with The Taming of the Shrew. Over the years, its stage has hosted Broadway tryouts including The King and I and Camelot. Today, the Boch Center venue presents a changing schedule of theater, music, comedy and dance, so the experience depends on the show you book.
It’s across the street from the larger Wang Theatre, and the two addresses are easy to mix up. Check your ticket before heading inside. The Shubert has no elevator; accessible seating is on parts of the orchestra level, with an accessible restroom off the main lobby. Contact the box office before buying if stairs or seating access affect your plans.
