A Boston summer staple is making its return. The Seaport Summer Market is back for its fifth year, taking over Seaport Common at 85 Northern Ave starting May 2.

The free outdoor market will run for 18 Saturdays from May through September, with more than 40 vendors each weekend and over 60 participating throughout the full season.

A Saturday market packed with local makers

Each week features a rotating lineup called “The Makers Show,” spotlighting small businesses and independent creators from across the region. Expect a mix of apparel, jewelry, skincare, home goods, pet products, art, and specialty foods.

New vendors this year include Aquidneck Honey, Fairy Greens, Matt Hassan Art, and Kong Mountain Tea.

Returning favorites like Sand + Stone, With Love, Paint, Aurabead, and La Folie Press are also back.

The focus stays consistent. Local, independent, and often women-owned and minority-owned businesses are front and center.

More than shopping

This is not just a market. It is a full Saturday hang.

Each weekend includes a live DJ plus family-friendly programming like lawn games, a bubble machine, and an instrument petting zoo hosted by the Fort Point Artists Community.

It is built to feel easy. Walk through, discover something new, stay for a while.

A Seaport summer tradition

The market has grown into one of the Seaport’s most reliable summer draws, giving small businesses a high-traffic platform while turning Seaport Common into a weekly destination.

It is free, open to the public, and runs every Saturday from May through September.

If you are looking for a simple Boston summer plan, this is it.
