Ziggy’s

Ziggy’s in Oak Square serves pizza, subs, wings and salads, with chicken cutlets breaded in-house and cheese shredded for its pizzas. It’s a family business named for the owners’ grandfather Zisis, whose nickname was Ziggy. The family’s account traces its local pizza-shop roots to his son opening a business in Oak Square in 1980.

The current Washington Street shop also lists bowls and wraps, giving you alternatives when the rest of the order is pizza. Its website links to the menu and online ordering, so you can choose food before heading over to collect it. Ziggy’s opens at 11 a.m. Monday through Saturday and closes at 9 p.m. Keep Sunday out of the plan; the shop takes that day off.
