Thistle & Leek

Thistle & Leek is a Newton Centre restaurant at 105 Union Street, inspired by London’s modern gastropubs. The dining room is wood-paneled. The menu is seasonal small plates, and breads, pastas, and ice creams are made in house. The wine list is Old World. Cocktails are straightforward. A current dinner menu includes sesame focaccia, lamb meatballs with tomato and ginger curry, and hanger steak with horseradish cream.

Lunch runs Tuesday through Friday from noon to 2 p.m. Dinner is closed Sunday and Monday, 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Reserve on Resy and choose an indoor table or the patio. Patio tables are outdoors and depend on the weather. Call 857-404-0260.
