Da LaPosta is chef Mario LaPosta’s wood-fired pizzeria and restaurant at 825 Washington Street in Newtonville. Naturally leavened pizza sits at the center of the menu, with street-food starters and handmade pasta around it. The wine list leans toward Campania and southern Italy. The current dinner menu includes housemade ricotta with Sardinian orange honey, cacio e pepe supplì, rigatoni carbonara, and pizzas such as margherita and fennel sausage. Gluten-free dough is available.

Dinner is seven days a week. Tuesday through Thursday is 4 to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday is 4 to 9:30 p.m., and Sunday and Monday is 4 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, 4 to 6 p.m. is the aperitivo hour. Reserve on Resy or walk in. Takeout and delivery are available.
