The Lilypad

The Lilypad in Inman Square gives jazz, experimental music, indie rock and folk room on the same calendar. Founded in 2005, the Cambridge Street venue also hosts art and classes, including yoga accompanied by live music. Come for a particular performer or take a chance on a bill you do not recognize. Beer, wine, cider, soft drinks and tea are available. Most shows sell tickets at the door, with advance links posted when offered; individual listings also tell you whether a performance is seated or includes standing room. Shows are all ages unless marked otherwise. If you need step-free entry, contact the venue so staff can prepare its portable ramp.
