The Layover

The Layover is Cunard Tavern’s rooftop at 24 Orleans Street in East Boston, Jeffries Point. The current roof-deck page lists Tuesday 4 to 11 p.m. with trivia, Thursday and Friday 4 to 11 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday noon to 11 p.m. There is a walk-up window for craft beer, wine by the glass, and cocktails. The posted drinks are tiki-style, built on Bacardi rum and fruit juice, including a scorpion bowl and margarita. Bites listed are Korean bulgogi, hoisin ribs, and tempura vegetables. A retractable awning and heat lamps let them rent the deck year-round for private events. Cunard downstairs is a separate listing. Come for a rum drink and a harbor view on Orleans Street.
