State Park

State Park is a bar and restaurant on the lower level of One Kendall Square, with shuffleboard and a menu built for a hungry table. Start with pimento cheese or buttermilk biscuits, then move on to fried chicken with Tabasco honey, a burger or beer-battered haddock and chips. A black-eyed pea burger gives vegetarians something substantial to order, too. The drinks list covers cocktails, wine and beers ranging from familiar lagers to New England craft brews. Come with friends for dinner and a game, or make it a weekend brunch stop. Look for Building 300 in the plaza; the restaurant is below street level.
