Shine Square Pub

Shine Square Pub serves sliders, wings and substantial sandwiches on Mass Ave near Porter Square. The slider choices cover beef with American cheese and pickles, pulled pork, buffalo chicken and an Impossible patty. Order a few with sweet potato fries and maple mayo, or go straight to the beer-braised brisket sandwich with Swiss cheese and pickled onion.

The drinks list includes Guinness, local beer, cocktails and nonalcoholic beer. Lunch and dinner are part of the regular schedule, but Monday has its own surprise: brunch runs from noon into the afternoon. It’s a useful alternative when the weekend got away from you. The pub opens at noon daily, with food menus changing as the day goes on.
