Hong Kong Restaurant
Hong Kong Restaurant has been part of Harvard Square since 1954, when Jimmy and Mary Lee opened the family business on Massachusetts Avenue. Its menu covers Chinese American standards alongside dishes such as roast duck, mapo tofu and moo shi with a choice of filling. The drinks list includes the restaurant’s long-running scorpion bowl, served for sharing or as an individual drink.
Dinner and a night at the upstairs bar follow different schedules here. The dining room closes earlier, while the upstairs bar runs late on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Check which part of the restaurant is open before making plans, particularly if food is the main reason for your visit. The restaurant is currently closed on Mondays.
