Semel Theater
The Semel Theater is one of Emerson Stage’s Boston performance spaces, hosting productions by the college’s theater program. Its season includes plays and musicals, giving the public a chance to see work from student performers and the teams behind each production. Choose a show from the current calendar rather than treating the theater as an attraction with daily admission.
The venue is in the Tufte Performance and Production Center on Boylston Place, near Boston Common. Check the theater named on your ticket: Emerson uses several stages, and a production elsewhere on campus may have a different entrance. Book through Emerson Stage and review the performance’s running time, content notes and accessibility information when planning your visit. Arrive early enough to find the correct floor and your seat.
