Regattabar

Regattabar puts live jazz on the third floor of the Charles Hotel in Harvard Square, with tables in a 220-seat room. Open since 1985, it books established performers alongside newer artists, giving you a chance to hear a set without spending the evening standing. Order a cocktail, wine or beer and something small to eat, such as hummus or a cheese plate; plan a full dinner elsewhere. Seats are assigned by purchase date, so booking ahead matters. If friends buy separately, email the club to request a table together. All ages are welcome, with a guardian required for children under thirteen, and the room is wheelchair accessible.
