Pizza Project

Pizza Project makes naturally leavened, stone-milled sourdough pizzas inside the Charles River Speedway in Brighton. The 16-inch pies include pepperoni with hot honey, roasted mushrooms with fontina and confit garlic, and a white pizza with ricotta, preserved lemon and black pepper. You can ask for sesame seeds on the crust of any pie.

The marinara skips the cheese and is listed as dairy-free. The vodka sauce pizza, on the other hand, contains pork fat, a useful detail if you’re choosing for a vegetarian friend. Caesar salad and house ranch are available alongside the pizza. Order ahead for pickup at the Western Avenue location, and remember that the shop is closed on Mondays.
