Milano’s Delicatessen is the Italian deli at 978 Saratoga Street in East Boston, open since 1967. Hours are Sunday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Phone (617) 567-6718. The shop is a deli and groceria: cold cuts, Italian snacks, pantry staples, and prepared foods. Grab-and-go covers bakery pizza, arancini, calzone of the day, pizza of the day, and soup of the day. Cooked to order are pizza, subs, calzones, salads, and homestyle pasta. Catering trays are on the site for office lunches and family gatherings.
