Middle East Downstairs

Middle East Downstairs is the basement concert room in the Central Square complex, with a calendar that moves between bands, touring singers and dance parties. Most shows are general admission and standing, so come ready to spend the set on your feet. A full bar serves beer, wine, spirits and nonalcoholic drinks, and the restaurant upstairs makes dinner before the show an option. Tickets and age limits are specific to each event; an all-ages concert one night does not mean the next dance party admits everyone. Check that your ticket says Downstairs, since Upstairs, Sonia and ZuZu have separate programs. The Central Square Red Line stop is nearby.
