Little Whale Oyster Bar

Little Whale Oyster Bar brings a New England seafood menu to a Newbury Street brownstone. Chef Michael Serpa’s restaurant serves oysters, shrimp cocktail and bluefish dip alongside fish and chips, lobster spaghetti and lobster rolls made either warm with butter or cold with mayonnaise. It is a useful Back Bay stop when you want seafood at an in-between hour, since the full menu runs through the afternoon. There is patio seating when the weather allows, and parties of two or three are usually seated at the dining counter. Walk-ins are welcome. You can make a meal of a few raw-bar orders or settle in for a plate of pasta.
