Kajiken
Kajiken on Harrison Avenue specializes in abura soba: thick noodles dressed with sauce and oil instead of served in broth. The Original comes with chashu pork, bamboo shoots, nori and scallions. For a spicy version, Homura adds minced pork, egg, fish powder and chives. Mix the bowl before eating to bring the noodles, sauce and toppings together.
There are plenty of additions to choose from, including kimchi, corn and extra pork. The menu also offers tonkotsu ramen and donburi rice bowls, such as fried chicken with curry or sliced beef with onions. Gyoza, karaage and takoyaki round out the small plates at this Chinatown branch.
