Gray’s Hall

Gray’s Hall is a South Boston wine bar from the people behind American Provisions, with enough food to make a night of it. The wine list focuses on natural wines by the glass and bottle, alongside beer. Start with cheese, house pickles or a pretzel baguette with pimento cheese, then move on to a burger, steak frites or whichever seasonal dishes are on that day’s menu. Vegetables and seafood have their own place here, with recent plates including roasted carrots with coconut tahini and yellowtail crudo. The small East Broadway space suits catching up over a glass and a few plates. You can keep the order light or stay for dinner without changing tables.
