Fox and The Knife

Fox & the Knife is Karen Akunowicz’s Italian restaurant and wine bar on West Broadway in South Boston. Handmade pasta is a central reason to come, with antipasti, bread, and larger dishes giving you plenty of ways to put dinner together. The drinks follow the same Italian lead, with aperitivi to start and amaro if you’d like something after the meal. It works for a planned dinner, but you can also try the bar without a reservation: those seats are kept for walk-ins and offer the full menu. Dining-room reservations open on a rolling 30-day basis. The restaurant serves dinner every day, and valet parking is available through the nearby Cambria Hotel if you’re driving.
