D’Parma Restaurant

D’Parma Restaurant is the Italian dining room at 182 Sumner Street in East Boston, with a second location on Shirley Street in Winthrop. The Eastie menu is split the old way: appetizers, pasta, grill, pesce, risotto, salads, soups, and subs. Regulars on the restaurant’s own site keep coming back to pumpkin ravioli, salmon in pink sauce, trout scampi, ziti and meatballs, and tiramisu. The staff works in English and Spanish. There is a wine list for the table. Sumner Street is Jeffries Point, close to the harbor, and this is a sit-down Italian room rather than a slice window. Book a table if you can. Come for pasta or fish, not for a concept.
