Boston Burger Company’s Davis Square restaurant takes burger toppings well beyond lettuce and tomato. The Mac Attack adds four-cheese macaroni and bacon, while the 420 stacks mozzarella sticks, fried mac and cheese, onion rings, fries, and bacon onto the burger. A plain cheeseburger remains an option if you’d rather keep the sides beside it.

The frappe menu is similarly ambitious. Holy Cannoli comes with a cannoli and cookie garnishes, while other versions use cookie dough, Nutella, or strawberries. There are also veggie burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, and a children’s menu.
