Boston Burger Company – Boylston St.

Boston Burger Company on Boylston Street has a burger called the 420 topped with mozzarella sticks, fried mac and cheese, onion rings, fries and bacon. That tells you quite a bit about lunch here. Other combinations are more restrained: the Alpine uses mushrooms and Swiss, while the Mac Attack puts four-cheese macaroni and bacon on the burger.

You can also build your own, or order chicken sandwiches, salads and wings. Fries have their own section, and frappes can turn the meal into an extended project. The location at 1100 Boylston sits between the Berklee area and Fenway’s ballpark restaurants. Come with an appetite and read the toppings before adding sides; several burgers already contain what other places would serve in a separate basket.
