Bistro du Midi
Bistro du Midi gives you two ways to eat across from the Public Garden. Downstairs, the bistro serves French onion soup, escargots, steak frites and mussels, with a bar and a patio for warmer days. Most bistro seats are kept for walk-ins, so it works for a lunch without much advance planning. Upstairs, the dining room looks toward the garden and offers both an à la carte menu and chef Robert Sisca’s tasting menu. Afternoon tea is another reason to visit. If you are eating downstairs and want a chocolate or vanilla soufflé, allow twenty minutes for it to arrive. Some desserts need their own schedule.
