Aeronaut Brewing Company has a particularly good setup for friends who want beer, live music and something good to eat. At its Somerville brewery, you can order a Robot Crush pilsner or A Year with Dr. Nandu IPA alongside Venezuelan arepas from Carolicious. Mimi’s Chūka Diner is here too, serving Chinese dishes prepared in a Japanese style, while Somerville Chocolate makes small-batch bars for dessert.

You don’t have to settle on dinner before meeting up, either. Outside food and delivery are welcome, so everyone can eat what they want. The taproom hosts live music, with a mix of free and ticketed performances, giving you the option to plan a visit around a show.
