ROAR National Walk for Long-Term Care Reform

R.O.A.R. for Better Elder Care — Join Us in Watertown!
On Sunday, September 27 at 12 PM, families, caregivers, advocates and community members will gather at the Watertown Veterans Memorial along the Charles River for the Massachusetts R.O.A.R. Walk for Nursing Home Reform.
R.O.A.R. stands for Respect, Oversight, Advocacy and Reform — and Massachusetts is joining communities across the country in calling for safer, more transparent and accountable long-term care.
Too many families have experienced neglect, understaffing and a lack of accountability in nursing homes. This walk is about bringing those stories into the open and demanding meaningful change.
Long-term care affects all of us. Whether you have a loved one in care, work in the field, or simply believe our elders deserve dignity and protection, we need your voice.
