Jinxland presents: Sorcerer’s Soiree

Sorcerers’ Soiree is a summoning of music, dance, poetry, divination, fashion, witchy wares and interactive art. This is a chance to assemble in person, to share space and share joy. Bring your body, your spirit, and your voice. The magic only happens when we’re together. Come ready to be enchanted.

Tickets start at $20, but we kindly request that if you can afford to pay more that you choose one of our other ticketing tiers ($25 or $30). It takes many people and much work to put on an event like this so any additional funds you can help with are greatly appreciated!

Music!

The Macrotones

Established in Boston in 2007, The Macrotones are a 10-piece unit steeped in off-beat funk & soul rhythms from all over the globe. Blazing horns meet mighty hooks for a progressive mix fit to fill any dancefloor. The Macrotones tightly-honed grooves and infectious sound has shared the stage with like-minded practitioners such as Lee Fields & the Expressions, Durand Jones & the Indications, the Budos Band, Grupo Fantasma, Orgone, Ikebe Shakedown, and Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars. Since typical genre descriptions fail to fully capture the scope of the Macrotones’ sound, new monikers need exploration: imperial funk, astrobeat, or even “a soundtrack for spies” all fit.

Check out their incredible album, From The Void, available now !
