Boston Harbor Distillery
The Boston Harbor Distillery has announced that they have donated $18,000 to the Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA) to be put towards its Education Foundation and the creation of leader scholarships to be given to future leaders of the restaurant and food service industry. A total of $10,000 will be used for such scholarships. The money was collected under the #RYESUP Massachusetts campaign and it was raised thanks to the support of many partners such as Stillwater, Burtons Grill, and Source Harvard Square as well as the clients who purchased the company’s Putnam Whiskey.
President of the MRA Bob Luz stated that they “could not be more grateful for Boston Harbor Distillery’s continued support of the MRA and its concern for the state’s restaurant and hospitality industries.” The campaign #RYESUP was created with the intention of supporting and appreciating restaurant and hospitality workers during the unprecedented times of the pandemic according to Rhonda Kallman, founder and CEO of Boston Harbor Distillery.
