Midway Restaurant

Midway Restaurant has been on Washington Street since 1947, when it began as a diner serving breakfast and lunch. The Midway Club followed in the 1950s, adding a nightclub to the business. Today, its American menu includes burgers, sandwiches, salads and more, with lunch and dinner service.

The Midway Burger comes with bacon, pepper jack and barbecue sauce; the Black & Blue adds sautéed onions, bacon and blue cheese. A French dip, fried-haddock sandwich and grilled pear salad offer other directions. Donna Jenks’ Distinctive Catering also operates through the business, but you can visit the restaurant itself at 269 Washington Street for a meal.
