Irish Village
Irish Village has been on Market Street since the early 1970s, and the pub’s walls still carry photographs of its soccer club and older beer memorabilia. The Faneuil Lounge, added in the former bakery space next door, gives it room for a fuller entertainment calendar. Comedy open mic, trivia, karaoke and weekend live music all appear on the schedule.
The drinks menu includes Guinness and regional beers, cocktails such as a Paper Plane, and a spirit-free mango mule. You can come for a pint or choose a night around a performance. Check the calendar for the current lineup and start time before heading over. The lounge also takes private-event inquiries if you want to gather more people than will fit around a bar table.
