UNIQLO is opening a new Downtown Crossing store this week with free giveaways and Boston-only drops

The global retailer is taking over Downtown Crossing with opening weekend giveaways and Boston-only merch.

April 10 through April 12
399 Washington Street, DTX

Boston is getting a new UNIQLO store this week, and the opening comes with free cannoli, coffee, and exclusive giveaways for the first 300 people in line.

The brand is opening at Downtown Crossing on April 10, with a full weekend of promos, limited items, and Boston-focused collaborations.

Free cannoli, coffee, and giveaways all weekend

From April 10 through April 12, the first 300 people in line each day will receive:

  • A free UNIQLO knot bag
  • An exclusive disposable camera
  • A mini cannoli from Mike’s Pastry
  • Coffee from Ogawa Coffee

There’s also a gift-with-purchase offer. Spend $99 or more and get a limited-edition tote featuring artwork by a Boston artist.

If you’re going, opening weekend is the moment. The free cannoli, coffee, and gift items are only available for the first 300 people each day.

A Boston-focused launch, not just another store

UNIQLO is positioning this as more than a retail opening. Its “Made for All. Made for Boston.” campaign highlights local creatives across music, dance, sports, and poetry, reflecting the brand’s push to connect with the city directly.

Boston already has a strong streetwear and retail culture, from global brands to low-key icons like Inside Bodega: Boston’s Secret Sneaker Store and Streetwear Icon.

Exclusive Boston-designed pieces inside

The store will feature Boston-inspired designs through UNIQLO’s UTme! program, including T-shirts and tote bags created by local artists like Nick Shea and Lauren Martin.

A repair and recycling studio inside the store

This location will also include a RE.UNIQLO Studio, offering:

  • Clothing repairs starting at $5
  • Custom embroidery starting at $10
  • Clothing donation drop-off
  • Textile recycling for worn-out items

It’s one of a limited number of these studios in the U.S.

When to go

Opening weekend runs April 10 through April 12 at 399 Washington Street.

If you want the free cannoli, coffee, and giveaways, get there early.
