Tsai Performance Center

The Tsai Performance Center is Boston University’s hall for concerts, dance, and talks at 685 Commonwealth Avenue, by Kenmore Square. University departments and students use the stage, and so do orchestras and dance companies from off campus.

On October 24 the New England Philharmonic opens its 50th season in this room. The program starts with William Billings’s Remember Thee, O Boston, then a new work for the Middlesex County Volunteers Fifes and Drums. Fifes and drums share the stage with the orchestra that night, and the concert ends on Bernstein’s dances from West Side Story. On October 29 and 30, Boston University’s On Broadway fall production takes the same stage.
