The Shop at Dovetail

The Shop at Dovetail makes a sandwich lunch worth a look at the whole menu. The Northshore stacks slow-cooked roast beef with barbecue sauce, American cheese and horseradish crema; the Havarti Party turns spinach and artichoke dip into a grilled cheese. The Veggie Cubano brings roasted and griddled vegetables together with Swiss, Dijon and chipotle aioli.

Salads and bowls offer another route, including smoked-almond quinoa with arugula, cranberries and avocado. Add house-made chips or ask about the day’s soup. The Shop is the sandwich side of Dovetail in the Charlestown Navy Yard, with its own online ordering and daytime-to-early-evening hours. Use the Shop menu when ordering, rather than the restaurant’s dinner menu.
